The canadian built, former french railway SNCF, heavy fuel oil fired, 2-8-2 "Mikado" 141 R # 1244 of association "Mikado 1244" at Brugg (AG), is pulling the "HAG-Reisen" charter train round the Säntis this day. In Unterterzen, there was a long stop for a motorboat trip to the restaurant at Tiefenwinkel for lunch. The locomotive got water and is now ready to run around the cars for the onward journey, tender first running, to Sargans. From there, the locomotive will pull the train through the Rhine valley down to St.Margrethen, along the Lake Constance (Bodensee) to Rorschach, then up to St.Gallen and finally back to Brugg (AG). In the background is the 2259 meter high mountain called "Sichelchamm" (sickle ridge).
