Rain..rain..rain..oh wait a train!
NS 68W is at a crawl as the loaded Georgia Power train is creeping south toward the end of the NS Cohutta District on a diverging-approach signal. The train is loaded with crushed limestone, and is slowly heading to the Georgia Power Plant Hal B. Wansley just outside of Carrollton, GA. The bulk product will be used in the scrubber system where it's mixed in with coal, and once combust the limestone is supposed to reduce carbon dioxide from getting into the air. Once the train get to the junction it will leave the Cohutta District, and proceed south on the NS Atlanta North-End for it's destination.
