Going, going....As Amtrak 242 passes under the George Washington Bridge at sunset on Friday, February 15, 2019 (P32AC-DM 701, Phase III leading), a yellow glow fills the sky. But a billboard will soon fill this view as well, obstructing the full vantage point of the bridge. To the right, motorists on the Henry Hudson Parkway flee the city for the weekend.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
