97302 approaches Tonfanau running 20 minutes late with the 18:05 6W55 Barmouth to Bescot return ballast train. Had it have passed on time, I would’ve had more light on the nose, but I can’t complain to have had it in sun. A 97/3 up the coast in daylight is a relative rarity these days. A chunk of the land had been lost in the storms the previous winter. For this shot I was stood right on the crumbling edge, whereas before I could've stood a good 2m further from the fence.
