Old meets new as RPCX 315, built in 1953, meets BNSF 7344, built in 2009. The warbonnet painted F7A's are owned by the Galveston Railroad Museum, and here are trailing on a special train run by the museum over BNSF tracks. They would get their chance to lead on the return trip to the museum as the train did not turn around. The train carried officials for the museum, BNSF, and for cities along the 125 mile route the train took between Galveston and Brenham, TX. It also carried paying passengers and first responders.
Not
