At dusk in San Francisco, the "Daylight" drumhead shines proudly on the observation car at the end of the Worlds Fair Daylight. The observation, dressed up in Daylight colors to punctuate this special train, is ex-Great Northern "Appekunny Mountain," built in 1951 for the "Empire Builder."
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
