VIA Rail No. 2, the eastbound Canadian, makes its station stop at Jasper, Alberta, on August 6, 2016. On the rear of today’s train are three “Prestige Sleeper class” cars, including dome-observation “Laurentide Park.” These cars have deluxe accommodations and service, and include extra large windows in the spacious rooms (the new large windows are on the opposite sides of the cars in this view). Two prestige sleepers are ahead of the Park car, and as standard with all prestige cars, are identifiable with the black letterboards instead of blue.
