No fooling, the Vermont Rail System's Green Mountain Railroad Bellows Falls Subdivision is bridged by two of Okemo Mountain Resort's Jackson Gore trails - Southern Crossing and Fast Track - and is apparently the only place in North America to have bridged trails like this. On April 1, the Vermont Rail System's Saturday Slurry 263x train is seen rolling under the Fast Track trail with a mom and daughter having just skied to a stop atop the bridge to watch the passing train, while more skiers head up the Coleman Brook Express Quad lift. The VRS train is powered by VTR SD70M-2 431, GP40-2Ws 310 and 311 and GMTX SD60 9000, placing both the special scheme units on VRS together again. (Note to self - skiing down these trails is a LOT easier than snowshoeing UP!)
