All of the SC&MB locomotives are out for an early evening stroll down Walker Street in Watsonville with MH 89 in the lead and SC 1102 and SC 1101 following. They have just passed the old Southern Pacific station and are headed to Pajaro to move two more cuts of tank cars back to the branch line for storage. This day has turned out to be one of the busiest days in decades for the branch line. Six moves running light and six with freight between the interchange with UP at Pajaro and the storage location on the outskirts of Watsonville.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
