Lake State Railway is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2017 and to commemorate the occasion, the latest GP40-3 slug mother has been released in a special 25th Anniversary scheme, wearing road number 4325. The 4325 is also unique in that in addition to the special long hood logo, the road numbers on the cab side and the number boards are the font that was used by the Detroit & Mackinac - the company that once operated the trackage currently operated by the Lake State Railway. Welcome to the world, LSRC 4325. Conductor side view of the unit. This was another of my designs for the LSRC.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
