I posted my shot of this train previously. No. 593834, Oct. 25, 2016. This shot tells the story of how I nearly got goosed trying to capture the train at this pond near Moberly, BC. As the train approached and whistled, several geese swimming in the pond took flight. At first they were level with the locomotive, then fortunately lifted above as shown here, clearing for the previously submitted photo. It was a matter of a few seconds, and after two days of planning could have been a completely missed shot. Sort of a Hail Mary on this one.
