In a scene which may never be repeated, a TTI coal train accelerates through the hand-throw crossover at "CP Caproni" in Maysville, KY. The TTI Rail to River facility closed in November 2016, a victim of the depressed coal market. This will leave the TTI mainline between Paris, KY and Maysville with no traffic. The TTI coal pier and railroad are owned by CSX through a subsidiary, and ultimately fell to the present cost-cutting measures. However, an employee at the coal terminal summed it up with this statement to a local paper: "We just don't have any business." The TTI operates a transload in the Paris, KY yard, so the railroad should continue to minimally operate as a terminal switching railroad there. A news link is available in the TTI thread in the Railpictures.net shortline forum.
