Rolling up the Hudson River! The United Railroad Historical Society of NJ -URHS operated an excursion on Sunday, November 6, 2016 (a repeat of Saturday's trip) from New York Pennsylvania Station to Albany-Rensselaer station (New York) on former New York Central Railroad Cars 43 and the Hickory Creek. Guests were served breakfast on board and were taken to a restaurant in Albany, New York for lunch,all the while enjoying the fall foliage of the Hudson Valley in between. We catch the special cars on the back of Amtrak Train 233 at about 125 Street in Manhattan, NY with the George Washington Bridge in the background.
