All this series of photographs of the railroad to nearly 5000 meters above sea level, I love them very much, because I took a lot of effort to get them.
But this one is special because I had to run a lot on the railroad tracks, with the train moving behind me, crossing tunnels... could hardly breathe and sustain my heavy photography equipment.
At this point (14600 feet) is very demanding for the body, even for me, that I have already 47 years old. But the enthusiasm and passion are the same as when I was 12... and I can not measure the risks.
When I turned to take this picture, my head began to give me around, I could hardly stand up and had to support and lean against the wall of the tunnel. I am surprised that this photo has gone framed and in focus.
Fortunately the locomotive carry an oxygen bottle for occasions like this...
