As a crewman fires up FTRX MP15DC 1345, a bit of smoke rises from the engine's exhaust stacks. Sure, it's no steam locomotive (or even an Alco!), but it does give a static roster shot a little interest. Foster Townsend Rail Logistics 1345, one of three engines working the Lange-Stegmann grain facility on the banks of the Mississippi River in Saint Louis, Missouri. This engine was built as Missouri Pacific 1545, later becoming Union Pacific 1345 and then UP Y1345. Photographed on private property with permission and full PPE.
