BNSF is busy installing CTC on their double track section of the Aurora Sub between Graf near LaCrosse, and CP 1462 near Savanna. Alot of this section of the railroad is still TWC/ABS territory, which limits what BNSF can do with train traffic. With the installation of CTC these classic CBQ era signals are going to be replaced. A story being told all over railroads in 2015.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
