With a surplus of cars destined for Campbell Hall sitting in the NYSW's yard in Ridgefield Park, the railroad saw fit to run an extra freight North on a beautiful Saturday morning. The train featured some interesting power in the form of two CEFX lease units, an NYS&W unit and an NS unit which was en-route to CH.
The freight for Campbell Hall generally runs up Metro North and is normally handled by NS, however due to a catastrophic washout on MTA's mainline the freight had to be re-routed up the NYS&W for months in order to make service.
