During the heart of a 3-day snowstorm that impacted most of New England, Vermont Rail System deployed their 102-year-old ex-Canadian Pacific Railway snowplow to spread the snow from the crew walking area along the right-of-way and to clear flangeways on the Green Mountain Railroad. With ski tourist traffic heading home, more than a few heads turned in downtown Chester, Vermont, as the plow made its way through town on the westbound trek to Rutland.
