A Sunday morning extra 600 local train is seen on its way from White River Junction to Bellows Falls, Vermont with a haulage delivery for the Vermont Railway - delivering traffic (and a locomotive this day) from the Washington County Railroad in White River Jct. to the Green Mountain Railroad in Bellows Falls. Interestingly, neither of these locos are strangers to this line, despite their current owner paint schemes. The lead unit - NECR 3015 is ex-CN 9457 and had worked the route for CN-owned Central Vermont Railway and the VTR 303 is the former Boston & Maine GP40-2 314, which also ran the Conn River Line regularly!
