A Florida East Coast yard transfer led by GP40-2 No. 415 pulls the four red-white-blue FEC SD70M-2s across Jax Drawbridge over the St. John River at Jacksonville, Florida, on January 11, 2015. With the arrival of 24 new GE ES44C4s on FEC, groups of older power are no longer needed. These locomotives (Nos. 107, 104, 105, 106) are going to CSX on lease and chances are will never see home rails again. The train is approaching FEC’s “milepost 0” at the end of the drawbridge, and looming directly above the cab of No. 415 is the CSX headquarters building.
