One of the annual rites of spring for this photographer is to chase and catch an interesting southbound from the Mid-Hudson Bridge pedestrian walkway overlooking historic Highland NY. We see the "Union Jack" snapping in the breeze as an unusual power set of a former Conrail SD60M and C44-9W Warbonnet rumbles south with a long string of shiny new tanks along the Hudson River with yet another Philly bound "K Oil". This train would be the morning 'closer' of five southbounds this morning before the MOW forces at QR-72 can begin their work window on the weekly daylight curfew on this busy line.
