Military railway missile complex 15P961 "Molodets" ("Attaboy" in english) with intercontinental missile 15Zh61 (RT-23 UTTH, SS-24 SCALPEL). The design of missile train and launching car is based on the 8-axles refrigerator freight car. The roof is opened by the hydraulic gear. This missile carries ten nuclear warheads with a yield of each other near 0.36 Mt. Warheads are equipped for overcoming of antiballistic missile system. Train was drived by 3 special diesel locomotive (DM62) based on M62 series. The train contains four diesel generators each with a power of 100 kW for independent operation of launching unit. Provided with an arrangement able to short-circuit and push aside the overhead contact wire. 12 missile trains were manufactured in 1987 – 1991. But then (till 2007) according to «Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty 2», all trains were disarmed and destroyed, except two complexes transferred to museums.
