UP 5013, a Missouri Pacific lettered SD50 leading an empty coal train meets a loaded train headed by SD40-2 No. 3781 near Oshkosh, NE. This was in the early days of handling Powder River Basin coal for UP, and they were busy upgrading this line from North Platte to the CNW's new connection at Torrington, WY. Today 50-60 trains daily are loaded out of the Basin on UP, and an equal amount on BNSF.
