A pair of Geeps rest in front of the Alaska Railroad's diesel shop. These two Geeps were purchased new by the ARR, and even though they are only separated by two years, they do have their subtle differences, like the bigger plow and extended long hood for the 3013. I think the 3013 is HEP-powered, which explains the extended long hood. In addition, I believe ARR 3013 is unique in that its cab number is in a different font than the rest of its sister GP40s.
