Although painted in Celite colors, this ex Southern SW1500 is actually NREX 8444. Usually behind fences and guard shacks on the property of a local mining company, the switcher is brought on for maintenance work on occasion and comes to the Santa Maria Valley facility on the grounds of the old Holly Sugar Plant as it did on this day.
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
