A pair of McCloud River Railroad SD38s haul a long train of forest products at the foot of Mt. Shasta. Huh? Not at all! A power short Union Pacific leased McCloud River SD38s #36-37 in 1988, and assigned them to work the Salt Lake City to Provo locals. The duo are pictured hauling coil steel from Geneva while the Wasatch Mountains provide a stunning backdrop, including 10,908 ft. Mt. Cascade and 11,068 ft. Provo Peak.
