Conrail's River Line was no stranger to "foreign" power during the late 80s and early 90s, but the locomotive consist on this train was unusual even for the day. CR 6257 (ex PC SD40) leads a mixed, patched CSX consist of 3264 (ex L&N U23B), 4248 (ex B&O GP30) and 6276 (ex C&O GP40-2). I'm sure at the time I was annoyed that the boring ol' blue SD40 was in the lead, but in retrospect (21+ years later) everything was just fine the way it was!
