If it's one thing I love about the Huron and Eastern Railroad, it's the color and variety of their locomotive roster. When you think of a short line, you probably think of an all EMD consist of maybe GP38's or SD40's in uniform paint. Not the HESR! In this Image, 2 of 4 remaining GE locomotives on the roster are seen sitting in front of HESR's Bay City Shops at Wenona Yard. C30-7's #5175 and 5086, both wearing paint from past operations on the Burlington Northern and if you havn't guessed by now, the BNSF. Huron and eastern has a history of not repainting locomotives.
