ST Local RJ-1 heads west past old JV Tower at Johnsonville, NY on its return trip from interchanging with the Vermont Railway at North Bennington, VT and the Batten Kill Railroad at Eagle Bridge, NY. JV Tower once controlled B&M movements between the current mainline (once double-tracked) and the line to Troy, NY (now gone, but which would have passed the tower in the foreground).
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
