Shortly before sunset on a winter afternoon, the beer train is southbound at Rooiwal, passing the large Senwes grain silos at the north end of the station. Class 6E1 E1507, looking amazingly good in original SAR red livery and complete with original numberplate on the body side, leads an older Class 6E in Spoornet orange. Note the semaphore signals, which are still operational. The different bogies on the 6E1 and 6E are clearly visible in this shot.
