It has just stopped snowing at the Skyline loadout in Carbon County, Utah. In spite of the BNSF leader, this is a Union Pacific coal train. The #4501 will pull the train entirely through the loader, then cut off the lead engines, run around the train and re-couple on the other end. Then they will pull the train back through the loader. Elevation here is a little over 8000 feet and winter shows no signs of easing. After loading is finished, the loaded train will return down the Pleasant Valley sub to the UP main line at Colton, a few miles east of Soldier Summit.
