CPR 8028,8031,1807 are yarding train #911 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. I had never seen the RS-23 type units on this train before and never saw them again. CP was apparently short of power at St. Luc and this what they come up with for #911. It seemed strange that 1807 wasn't the leader in this group, but possibly it had been at the start of the trip and had suffered some kind of problem that caused the RS-23s to be placed on the point. In any case it must have been a wild ride on the point of a COFC train from Montreal to Sault Ste. Marie.
