One of my favourite locations on the Free State main line, Rooiwal (red embankment) is one of the few remaining examples of a reasonably well maintained South African country station, with its grain silos and operational semaphore signals. A southbound holiday extra from Johannesburg to East London, made up of Shosholoza Meyl stock, is dwarfed by the silos as it passes through behind a class 6E1.
