Class 6E1's E1330, E1476 & E1416 (running dead) are headed for Coligny with a string of empties, used for transporting bagged cement. From Coligny a local diesel hauler will most likely take the train on to Lichtenburg for loading. The covered wagons were originally built for transporting pallets of export fruit from the farmlands of the Western Cape to Cape Town harbour. Today the fruit traffic moves by road, the wagons have had their sliding door panels removed, and are now used for transporting bagged cement.
