NJT 4611 is on the end of a northbound as it eases over John Street and into South Amboy station. A lot has changed since the scene was glassed by George Hamlin in 1974 including modern crossing lights/gates, concrete ties, new paint on the building, a roof on the pedestrian overpass and many others. More changes are still to come as a rubber railroad grade crossing system sits in piles by the orange sign which states that it will be installed on Tuesday, July 6th.
