On this day the RAe TEE II trainset number 1053 was presented to the media after refurbishment in the Bönigen works of the BLS. The former RABe EC "Graue Maus" (grey mouse), wearing again the red/cream colors like in the days of the TRANS EUROP EXPRESS, is tackling the 1.5 % grade from Uetendorf to Seftigen on the line Thun-Belp-Bern, in the background the Stockhorn (2190 m).
